Today we’d like to introduce you to Lucas Maddox.
Lucas, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my business after a number of factors came into play. I had recently ended my enlistment in the U.S. military and I was looking for a full-time position that offered reasonable pay and decent benefits. After taking an internship at a local engineering firm, I quickly realized that the civilian workforce was just as inefficient as a government position. Working long hours, day in and out, I decided that a combination of going back to school and starting my own business was the best plan for me. With little support and a lot of hope, I made the decision to take a leap and dive into this. That being said, this is an insane job. I work harder than I ever had before and my clients expect more out of me than ever. I have worked for years to get where I am and will continue to work hard to provide the best possible service to my customers.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, it has not been a smooth road. If it had been, then everyone would have their own business. I have worked with a multitude of clients that have been completely ungrateful and gone out of their way to make my life as difficult as possible. All the way to those wonderful people in the world that truly appreciate the honesty that I bring to this business and really respect my trade and craft.
