Meet Marie Sacks of Stretch Station in Point Loma

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marie Sacks.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Marie. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am a Personal Trainer and a fitness instructor. I am certified NASM CPT-CES-FNS-GSF, I am also certified Spin instructor, TRX and have some Les Mills certifications.

As a Personal Trainer, I have been working a lot with our baby boomers, experiencing muscle imbalances and tightness despite recovering from injuries (low back, knees, hips and shoulders).

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It is always hard to expand clientele, there are a lot of trainers out there! Stretching is a new trend but opening a business is a challenge in our economy.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Stretch Station – what should we know?
We were a group of fitness professional endorsed by a health professional DO, FACSM, FAOASM, concerned by one of the most significant problems affecting not only competitive athletes but all of us: muscle and joint stiffness, tightness and pain.

Most of us often complain that it is often difficult, and not very enjoyable, to engage in regular stretching exercises. Stretch Station solves that problem! Through a carefully developed system of full body stretching utilizing stabilizing support systems and manual assisted stretching, we are able to provide you with an amazingly comfortable stretching experience like you’ve never had before. It will leave you relaxed and feeling more flexible with improved pain-free range of motion of your back, neck, trunk, shoulders and extremities.

After 2 years, we have seen a wide variety of clients from 13 to 95 years old! From people, Athlete to weekend warriors, stretching is for everybody and should be part of our daily activity.
