Meet Mark Evenchik of SD Party Rentals

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mark Evenchik.

Mark, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was in the party and event rental industry for over 20 years in Tucson, Arizona. After getting married and moving to San Diego, Ca. I came upon the opportunity to purchase a small party jumper company. I then transformed it to one of the premier party and event rental companies in San Diego. We have grown from our garage to over 5,000 sq. foot warehouse in Escondido, with 3 trucks, serving all of San Diego County. We specialize in weddings, birthdays, bridal and baby showers, corporate, and non-profit charitable events.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Growing the company has been a challenge, in this business, you seem to always need one more item, i.e. chair, table, tent, beverage dispenser, etc. In meeting the demand, we have focused on the key items, that are requested. We put together a strong team from quick order taking to efficient delivery, always putting the customers’ needs first.

Please tell us about SD Party Rentals.
We are most proud of our five star reputation, which takes extra care to maintain. Our commitment to timing, quality and cleanliness, keeps the customers coming back.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My father owned a toy store in Ohio, while he was building a company in Tucson, and he would have to go back to Ohio from Tucson, every Christmas, to help with the store. Upon his return he would always have a car load of the latest and greatest toys available.
