Meet Mirna Bautista of Mexsal Catering in Downtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mirna Bautista.

Mirna, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Mexsal = México and El Salvador

We started in July 2016, talking with my Husband the possibility to start a new catering business. At that moment was difficult to plan it, but we push our self to plan it and created. We had the help of Omar and Dallanny Medina. They give guided us with experience on this business. The first event was in the house of bishop Family on their back yard, then they recommended our flavor with other families and companies… sometimes we don’t believe that our little conversation about creating a catering business could be reality.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Basically the most difficult part is to get trust from clients. After you give your service to clients, they recommend our service to their friends…

Mexsal Catering – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Our catering service is Mexican and Salvadoran food. We take our grill to the place of the event and we cook in front of the people, they love to smell of our Tacos and Pupusas. We also offer an open menu of Mexican and Salvadoran food, including Desserts and Natural fruit waters and drinks.

The most proud we fell is our “flavor” my husband has his own flavor and our decoration at the event, Mexican and Salvadoran colors to bring a piece of our countries in the events. We also bring Kindness of our team.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success, when your clients are happy and satisfied with our food and service. Our main target are companies, corporations.

Pricing:

  • Basic Packet $14 per person
  • Pupusas $3 Each
  • Green Salad and desserts $2 per person

La paz de DIOS, felicidades han. Que el señor la bendiga y le de granted triunfos, no hay duda que todo se debe a la oración poderosa de un Soervo de Dios.
