Meet Mustafa Bondugjie of Moose’s Barbershop and Shave

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mustafa Bondugjie.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Mustafa. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We are a family owned chain of barbershops (3 brothers). There was a huge void in the Eastlake area for a traditional barbershop, so we decided to take the leap and start a business and open an upscale family-oriented barbershop that specializes in quality haircuts and old fashioned straight razor shaves. We felt there was a void in the industry that focused on not only quality haircuts, but also making the barbershop open to the whole family. We created a kids area with a train set and children’s movies, to keep the kiddos occupied while dad is enjoying a cut and a hot shave.

We pride ourselves in great customer service, quality haircuts, and overall great experience. Our first location was such a success, we were able to grow three more locations over the course of the next 3 years.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Due to large volume of walk-ins, our biggest struggle has been managing our wait times. We do offer appointments and a call ahead service to offset wait times. Our goal is to keep our wait times within 30 minutes but there are times that becomes very difficult during the “rush hours.”

Please tell us about Moose’s Barbershop and Shave.
Our motto is “It’s not just a haircut, it’s tradition” which means we do everything in our power to keep the experience of a traditional barbershop alive. We are heavily focused on executing a wide range of barbering services, while at the same time giving exceptional customer service for the whole family to enjoy. We have a wide range of barbers in each location that can execute a wide variety of custom haircuts, gentleman cuts, kids cut, and the list goes on.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Nothing.
