Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadia Zamora.
Hi Nadia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Having 7 siblings, and 5 sisters, I wanted to create a space where girls could hang out and have fun. Since I love the color PINK, I love hosting and I love pretty things, I dreamed up PINK ROSE CAFE. Together with my husband, we started Pink Rose Cafe February 2020. The following month COVID-19 hit our country. The entire world closed down and my dream of opening up Pink Rose Cafe seemed to be slipping away. Month after month we were faced with delays and roadblocks but the obstacles fueled me to become resilient. Together with the La Mesa community, we overcame COVID-19 delays, civil unrest, riots, and many other adversities. Eventually, 14 months later, we finally opened up the shop! Since the day we opened the doors, there has been unprecedented support from all over. Daily, we have visitors from San Diego and beyond. Our team is composed of women only. The team and I are grateful for the opportunity to bring a little bit of joy to everyone that walks into the shop. -Love, Pink Rose Cafe.
We’ve been impressed with Pink Rose Cafe, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are Pink Rose Cafe. We love everything Pink and Rose. Our coffee is sourced by only the best, Ryan Brothers. We offer coffee, teas, lemonades, pastries, and a few savory dishes. We love what we do, and it’s transmitted into everything we do.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
We are looking to expand our shop around San Diego County and beyond. From mobile coffee to Pink Rose on the GO!
