Today we’d like to introduce you to Omar Abdullah.
Omar, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my restaurant adventure in 1970 working with my father and brother in our family restaurant in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Fast forward to 1996 in San Diego where I got my first taste of being an owner of a mom/pop sandwich shop.
Since the middle of September of this year, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase two restaurants called Bruski Burgers and Brew and I’m loving the people on my team and the people who are our patrons.
The transition has been very good. The team has been very receptive and responsive to the new ownership and have worked hard to keep harmony.

Bruski Burgers and Brew serves some of the most amazing hormone and antibiotic free beef patties and chicken breast. We also have an extensive selection of locally brewed craft beers that are constantly being rotated so our customers get a fresh selection every day.

My biggest fan and mentor is my Dad. He had an amazing work ethic and always put people first. Whether it was his family, his friends, or his customers, he was loved and respected by all. RIP Dad… I love you!
