Meet Ronda Hopper of Ronda Hopper Real Estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronda Hopper.

Ronda, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was motivated to become a realtor after my husband and I had a devastating experience trying to sell our house in Temecula. I wanted to do what I could to help other families avoid what we went through. Because I was a stay at home mom at the time, I was able to make the time to study and get my license. I quickly found it was very difficult to get my career going and help my husband raise our 2 daughters. Then we moved back to my hometown of Alpine. With both daughters in school, I gave it another try. I found my home at Keller Williams Realty in La Mesa, and have been there ever since.

With the mentoring of some of the senior agents, support of the broker as well as the team leaders through the years, I have been able to learn a lot, gain a ton of experience, and build my business to what it is today. I get to meet some very interesting people, see some very interesting places and working with Gregg Phillipson I have grown to really love what I do.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Starting out it was hard to put the time in necessary to become a successful realtor and the time I needed to spend with my family.

It’s also very challenging staying motivated to work through the weekends, and evenings, when everyone else is off making their own plans. Especially when business is slow.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Ronda Hopper Real Estate story. Tell us more about the business.
I have built Ronda Hopper Real Estate by becoming a top producing sales professional and expert in the Real Estate Industry. I am an extremely motivated professional well versed in all aspects of real estate. I work hard to give my clients my personal attention, guide them through the real estate process while fiercely protecting their best interests.

I’m known for my honesty, hard work and dedication to my clients and the people I work with. I’m very proud of the trust and relationships I have built with my clients, partners and vendors through the years. I have learned my most valuable asset is my reputation, and I protect it with integrity, hard work and allowing my clients to be my motivation.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I believe you build your own luck through protecting and building your reputation, preparation and education. In bad situations, any combination of the three will help you keep moving and turn the situation around.

My husband’s family has taught me, through persistence and dedication, we will always win. The outcome might not turn out the way we think it should or come when we think it should, but I always believe we will overcome the challenges we face.
