Meet Seth Stein of Eastridge Workforce Solutions in Mission Valley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Seth Stein.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Eastridge’s purpose is to provide people with opportunities and enrichment through work. My story is the embodiment of that. While working my first job in San Diego as a Marketing Specialist, I noticed that Eastridge was hiring for a Business Development Representative. Eastridge took a chance on me as an entry level sales professional with little experience but a lot of heart. Today, I am the President of Workforce Recruitment at Eastridge Workforce Solutions!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been a winding road, which has created meaningful opportunities for our current staff of 300, countless alumni, and over 20,000 annual temporary associates.

The first opportunity was for us to specialize, diversify, and continue to create new service offerings to meet the needs of our clients, candidates, and co-workers. Eastridge has gone from a direct hire staffing agency in San Diego to a nationally recognized, vertically integrated, workforce solutions provider. Today, our Workforce Recruitment division provides temporary, temporary to hire, and direct hire staffing solutions across 11 verticals. Our Workforce Management division helps clients by offering employer of record services and program management of client’s entire contingent workforce.

Today, Eastridge services all 50 states and Canada with offices soon to be opened in Europe and APAC.

It also became clear that today’s service providers need to be tech-enabled in order to accelerate and automate business processes. As a result, we created the Eastridge Cloud, a next-generation platform for re-engineering the human capital supply chain. The Cloud seamlessly integrates all of Eastridge’s workforce solutions and was designed to be easy-to-use, yet capable of solving the most complex enterprise challenges. It will soon service over 4,500 daily active users deployed at some of the country’s most iconic brands.

How do you, personally, define success? What’s your criteria, the markers you’re looking for?
Full disclosure – I thought about quoting some profound leader, author or business executive here. Maybe sharing something about balance or some stretch goal. In all candor, I set the bar pretty high and feel like I am continuously trying to reach it.

The best way I can describe my thoughts on this subject is to share that my personal purpose is to use my enthusiasm and commitment to inspire people to realize fulfillment and satisfaction for themselves and those they connect with. I try to do my best every day for my family, co-workers, clients, Eastridge candidates, and myself. When I do take the time to reflect, I usually feel pretty good about things, and then realize there is more work to do!
