Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacia Weisbach.
Stacia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
After experiencing the phenomenal benefits exercise provides at an early age, I was motivated to inspire and educate others in making fitness a personal lifestyle goal. Sixteen years ago, I chose to dedicate my career to the profession of personal training, teaching others how to reach and surpass their fitness goals. I can’t imagine my life without exercise–the feeling of being refreshed, full of energy and relieved of stress. It is my passion to share this knowledge with others.
For the past sixteen years, I’ve taken great pride in providing clients with the best in quality fitness training. It is my goal to empower my clients to reach beyond their physical goals by providing them with training for the whole person. My methods are relatable and humorous, inspiring wellness of body and mind. Many of my clients come to me disillusioned with large gyms and impersonal training and are refreshed by my regular integration of new workouts and personal interaction. Their success is a direct result of my level of customer service and their trust in my coaching. Through this passion for fitness, I’ve maintained long-term relationships with the majority of my clientele, who continue to manage healthy, active lifestyles.
The achievements of my clients have allowed my business to thrive and built my desire to continue helping others through a variety of avenues. The positive impact of a strong mind and a healthy body inspire me to further my professional development. I recently became certified as a professional life coach, focusing on improving interpersonal relationships and dating techniques.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The initial year of my business required a steep learning slope in understanding the services most needed by my clients. Being a young female owner and operator of a fitness business in a non-digital age, without the outlets of social media and the internet provided its share of marketing challenges. With an industry full of fitness fads and quick-fix diet plans, it became my goal to instill life-changing value into my services. This meant staying current on exercise trends and challenging my clients beyond their initial fitness goals.
In recent years, the emergence of social media as a marketing tool has saturated the marketplace with unqualified fitness trainers and promises of immediate results for small monetary investments. These are offered without any follow up on deliverable results or personal attention to long-term success of a client’s goals.
Navigating through these challenges can be tricky, however, staying focused on the personal needs of my clients, holding them accountable to their goals, and being honest about the path taken to reach lasting goals are my strengths in overcoming business obstacles.
