Today we’d like to introduce you to Tabitha Frost.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Tabitha. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Before I met my husband, I started a blog for fun while I was a full-time preschool teacher. Soon after meeting my husband, I learned he did web development as a hobby.
Fast forward to when my first child was born, I decided to quit my job and become a stay-at-home mom. This gave me the opportunity to start blogging while being home with my son.
Since becoming a mom, I have become really into health and wellness, and I am always looking for the healthier alternatives out there. Once I realized how many chemicals we put in and on our bodies, I wanted to be as healthy as I can be for my kids and throughout my pregnancies.
With my husband’s skill in web development and my passion for blogging, we saw the opportunity for me to run a website while being a stay-at-home mom. My website, www.allnaturalandgood.com,
has definitely grown and changed throughout the years to reflect my lifestyle as a mom of three.
Currently, a major platform on my blog addresses breast milk donation awareness. As a breast milk donor, I am embracing the fact that I have hyperlactation syndrome and I am able to help save lives.
Has it been a smooth road?
In the beginning, the website was doing really well, but due to ongoing changes in social media and Google algorithms, the website has suffered. Blogging has become an extremely saturated market, as new blogs pop up every day.
It is also a challenge to find time to work on the website, as I find I have less and less time as a busy mom of three. This is when guest posts and brand partnerships can be beneficial to keep providing our followers with new content.
We’d love to hear more about what you do.
My website is a health and wellness blog called All Natural & Good. I write about various topics related to essential oils, food recipes, DIY beauty, and parenthood. I also review many products and partner with like-minded brands.
I am proud that I have been able to build and grow my website without a prior web development background or education. I have learned everything on my own and with the help of my husband.
What really sets me apart from others is the fact that I actually make all of the recipes I post. I really do have a passion for everything I write about it. My recommendations for products are always genuine.
I am most known for my charitable practice of donating breast milk. I have been recognized around the world, and my story has gone viral on social media with millions of views. As a breast milk donor, I am proud to say I have donated over 20,000 ounces (150 gallons) and counting.
I am known for producing 3-4 times as much milk as the average mom due to a condition called hyperlactation syndrome. I have been donating my extra breast milk since 2016 when my second child was born.
My website currently reflects different aspects of my breast milk donation journey as a way to raise awareness about breast milk donation and help other moms, whether they under or over produce breast milk. I’d like my followers to know there are resources and options out there for moms to help one another through breast milk donation.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I can only hope that with all of the hard work I put into my website that I can continue to be a stay-at-home mom. I hope my website will continue to allow me to spend as much time as possible with my kids. I aspire to continue writing about my passions – health, wellness, breast milk donation, and motherhood. I will continue to make changes throughout the years to keep up with the trends and the changes in various algorithms.
