Meet Tiffany Anchondo- Stewart of Get Social with Tiff

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Anchondo- Stewart.

Tiffany, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My husband and I became parents at a very young age. We knew that we needed to hustle as much as we could in order to make ends meet and to create a great future for our son. At the time, I was a server at The Jacobs Center. I wanted a more fulfilling and stable job so I decided to enter a certification program through San Diego State to become certified Meeting and Event Planner. During this time, I was working full-time as a Banquet Captain while going to school and taking care of our son. On the side, I would create graphics and content for friends that needed them.

After I completed my certification, I landed a job with Kitchens For Good as an Event Coordinator. Even after landing my dream job, I felt like I wasn’t as creative as I aspired to be. I spent a couple of years as an Event Coordinator while working on learning more about Social Media, graphic design and content creation.

One day I decided to take the leap. I was very unhappy with my career and wanted something more challenging and rewarding. I created my Instagram, applied for a business license and began looking for clients.

Now, I am fully operating as a Social Media Manager for small businesses. I work closely with Business owners to ensure their story is being told.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been very difficult. There have been many, many days where I wonder if this is what I want to do. I have cried, I have been sad and I have been angry with myself because sometimes things do not go the way I want them to. I do realize that the harder I work and the more effort I put into my business the more successful it will be. Regardless of the struggles, I have enjoyed starting something from the beginning. Especially something that is my own!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Get Social with Tiff – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
Get Social with Tiff is a small Social Media Agency located in San Diego. We specialize in helping small business owners with the management of all Social Media platforms.
