Meet Tiffany Nothwang and Jessica DeLamarter of Divine Design Events Inc

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Nothwang and Jessica DeLamarter.

Hi Tiffany and Jessica, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We are 2 best friends that LOVE event planning and decorating. Coming from restaurant management, we knew hospitality was in the cards but decorating and hosting are really in our hearts design. We started with small kid parties and decorating for our friends and then life happened. Covid happened and the world changed. And so did we. During Covid my pastor gave a sermon on the importance of gathering. After that, lightbulbs went off and we began to create what is now Divine Design Events Inc. We are 2 moms that know how stressful event planning can be especially when there are so many details and moving parts. We want to offer not only our hosting and event planning services but support and prayer during the process. We customize every event with our client’s heart in mind. We want to create beautiful escapes amidst the hectic world we live in. We are a very specific event company offering the rentals, decor, set up and clean up all for 1 inclusive price. We take care of it all with our client’s heart in mind as their hearts matter as well as the memories and celebrations they entrust us with!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting a luxe picnic company after a pandemic has been a challenge considering picnic companies are one of the top 5 businesses to come out of Covid. So standing apart, we specialize in themed picnics and parties. We created pop up parties- full size table and chairs complete with linens and decor set up for you for one low fee. You have to get creative and once upon a time is in our hearts design so many of our themes are created with that concept in mind with love and light driving each event.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We provide rentals and decor for any event. This can be done with full-size table and chairs or more of a luxe picnic with low profile table and pillows. Combined, both styles offer a unique set up for any event

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
We support other women owned small businesses to offer our all-inclusive packages. We offer charcuterie boards from Divine Boards by Andie, baked goods from Bethlehem Bakery and balloon garlands from whimsical creations. These are just a few to mention but we are hoping that as our business grow, we will help them to grow too.
