Meet Trailblazer Karla Vargas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Karla Vargas.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Karla. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’m creative, passionate and always with something to do –y si no me lo invento–

I may or may not be hyper, but honestly, I’m not; I just love living life to the max! The only person who can chill me out of my daily “To Do List” is Ricardo (my partner in life,) which is quite the contrary, because he encourages me to keep doing things and keep discovering more and more (he is the hyper one).

Mexican girl boss, living life in San Diego, California – love brought me here!

Fashion & Shoe designer degree. Studying marketing on my own (a.k.a. online courses and networking). Getting myself into coding just for fun. Obsessed with having everything organized and shoe maniac.

Fashion in technology, fashion appreciation, I make shoes, bags and cute things too!

I never go to sleep without reading, family first, never not listening music, always laughing. I work out every day, it is also my fuel for inspiration.

I don’t know if this is a good thing, but I can handle a good dental conversation with you (just in case you’re wondering! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Has it been a smooth road?
It has definitely not been an easy road. But all that definitely teaches you how to live life and value more what you have.

Struggle? Discrimination for being a woman or for being Mexican.

ALWAYS, stay true to yourself and focus on your goal.

We’d love to hear more about My Stylosophy.
I started my own shoe company when I was in college. Designing, developing and selling throughout the country (Mexico) when I moved to the United States, began exporting my products mostly in San Francisco. Part of the sales goes to scholarships for girls in Mexico who want to continue their professional studies.

My Stylosophy. This is my personal blog where I share my personal style, my point of view and talk about technology in Fashion

Do you feel like there was something about the experiences you had growing up that played an outsized role in setting you up for success later in life?
Totally, I came from a family who taught me to work since very young age. Always focus on what you want and treat people in the same way that I would like to be treated.
