Today we’d like to introduce you to Maddy Holley.
Maddy, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education. I have lived in four different states in the last four years so it had been extremely difficult for me to find a job and keep up with all of the tests and credentials.
Sadly, I slowly felt my passion for teaching children fading. My husband ended up finding my current job as an online health and fitness coach for me on Instagram. I was TERRIFIED of this opportunity and I am not one to step out of my comfort zone, but something told me to take this leap of faith. I truly believe we are put on this earth to fulfill multiple purposes. I felt that I have made a positive impact on children and it was time to move on to my next purpose.
I am SO grateful for my husband’s constant support and belief in me and most importantly finding my dream job. Becoming an online health and fitness coach is something that fuels my fire and fulfills my passion and desire to help others find their self-love, confidence, and helping women to build an empire of their own.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road, it has been very difficult, many late nights, not having full support from my loved ones, but overall very rewarding! I struggled with my self-love and confidence for many years. I still have self-doubt and wonder if I am good enough or can be successful in a saturated business.
With lots of personal development, affirmations, and manifesting I know that my desires in my heart, for anything good, is God’s proof to me sent beforehand to indicate that it’s already mine. My job has helped me not only step out of my comfort zone but has truly helped me with my self-love and confidence in myself. My advice to other women is to never give up! It takes a lot of hard work, dedication and consistency. Remember you are enough, you are worth it, clap for your damn self, and if you can visualize it then it is meant to be yours!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about your business – what should we know?
As an online health and fitness coach not only do I help others achieve their health and fitness goals through my online fitness studio, but I also mentor women on my team on how to build a business of their own from home. I am so grateful for the company I get to represent, Beachbody, and to be able to be given this opportunity and platform to spread my message of the importance of self-love and putting yourself first. I am known for radiating good vibes to others, showing gratitude, and sharing this opportunity to build your life by design.
In today’s world, I think it is important to remember to follow your dreams and say thank you in advance for whats already yours. I want to be a positive light for others and show them that life doesn’t have to be the standard 9-5. You can create the life you desire deep in your heart and show others that they can change their life by saying yes to an amazing opportunity. I want to show people what happens when you put yourself first, radiate good vibes to others, and most importantly be kind to one another.
Do you feel like there was something about the experiences you had growing up that played an outsized role in setting you up for success later in life?
Absolutely! I always had a passion for teaching but I secretly had a passion for fitness that I was too scared to share with people. I grew up playing softball and when I was younger I always had a positive outlook on the game no matter what. I feel like my mindset while playing sports has helped me with becoming an entrepreneur.
I have learned that things will not go your way but as long as you keep your head up, have a positive mindset and trust that God has a plan for you, everything is going to work out for the best.
