Meet Vincent Salinas of Body Mechanic in North Park

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vincent Salinas.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started massage 11 years ago when I graduated from Mueller College and received my certificate as a Holistic Health Practitioner in eastern and western modalities. My focus has always been sports related injuries and injury prevention. As an athlete myself, I know how important both range of motion and mobility are, so I specialize in sports massage, which includes deep tissue and stretching techniques. Most of my clients are athletes, from your weekend jogger to Olympic level, but I also work on individuals with every day work-related stress as well as the elderly. I’ve been at my current location for the past 7 years and also offer house-call services upon request.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Some of the obstacles I faced throughout the years mostly revolved around building up my clientele and acquiring regular clients. Most of my clients are all word of mouth with little to no advertising, so in the beginning years, business built up slowly.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Body Mechanic – what should we know?
I specialize in rejuvenating the body and mind by approaching every client differently, using unique methods that help restore and improve balance in their muscles. I am committed to helping individuals who have been injured, educating clients on injury prevention + overall wellness, and enhancing athletic performance in competitive athletes. Whether your goal is to relax, loosen tight muscles, or recover muscle injuries, I am dedicated to providing excellent services.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Of course I’d like to thank all my clients, without them I wouldn’t have any business. For my most recent success, I would like to thank Pixel Bytes, Inc. They have completely rebranded my business identity in a direction that best describes what I do. They launched my new website about 2 months ago and made it super easy for my clients to book online.
