Rising Stars: Meet Connie Gallegos-Barnhart

Today we’d like to introduce you to Connie Gallegos-Barnhart.

Hi Connie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’m a San Diego native content creator. I became a new mom during the pandemic and began sharing my journey on Instagram. What started as a way for me to meet like-minded mom friends lead me to full-time work as a content creator for brands. I feel grateful for the amazing moms I’ve become good friends with and the relationships I’ve developed with brands I love.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
COVID created a different experience for new moms. I became depressed and felt isolated from my family. It was hard not being able to allow my family to meet my daughter. The fourth trimester was not easy. I took to social media for a mom community.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have worked on over 50 campaigns over the last six months since I began receiving collaboration offers. My work involves creating product/brand awareness via my social platforms. I have worked for Pampers, LEGOLAND, Air Wick, Delta Children, Panda Express, Rubio’s, CVS Pharmacy, Boppy, Chuze Fitness, Bob’s Red Mill, to name a few. I never imagined my social media would also evolve into a full-time job. I love what I do! I’m a Marketing student and excited to continue to learn and grow. I recently went viral on TikTok and have been focused on building my video presence there.
