Rising Stars: Meet Jose Mohler

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jose Mohler.

Jose, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I grew up locally here in Encinitas playing youth sports for the majority of my life. Snuffy basketball and pop Warner football fields were where I sprouted my love and competitiveness for sports. I played Quarterback at La Costa Canyon from 2004-2008; while being a two-year starter LCC, I earned a full scholarship to play QB at North Dakota State University. After college, I played four years in Europe, playing for the New Yorker Lions of the German Football League (GFL), Cologne Falcons (GFL), Bergamo Lions of the Italian Football League (IFL), and Lausanne OWL of the Swiss League. In between seasons of European American Football, I was the offensive coordinator for my nephew’s pop warner team.

My QB on that team, Aidan Sayin, became my first client and introduced me to the specialized QB training world. He recently graduated from Carlsbad HS, where he was a two-year starter and will be attending the University Of Penn, where he has been accepted in Wharton Business School and will also play QB. My business has blossomed alongside the most version of myself and an inspired community. Im thankful for the era we live in with so much social media, my work and pillars of belief are very accessible through my Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Its allowed me to connect with many very helpful professionals in coaching and business. We are continuing to be consistent daily and plan to experience growth without ceilings in the future.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been a learning experience for sure. Understanding how to find targeted leads, engage my followers, and form a business offering were all things that took me time to develop. Im still developing a better understanding for all the Left Coast Athletix. The thing thats gotten me through all the unknown is my faith in the future. I’m very passionate about my work and business, and I believe in where we are headed as a community.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Left Coast Athletix and Coach Jose Mohler are San Diego’s top QB developmental programs. Coach Jose specializes in holistic development to fostering a community of modern QBs. The mental, emotional, and mechanical journeys are unique for every QB. Being very emotionally committed to the community, Coach Jose helps all clients reach their potential by giving professional coaching in all areas of their QB ethos. Left Coast Quarterbacks are known to possess high-level throwing and moving mechanics while possessing an understanding of the role of a QB on their team and in their community.

I coach Jose Mohler share an invisible bond with my clients. We both believe in our futures. We are both inspired and when we combined great information, a mindful deep focused approach and a daily commitment to their own beliefs, the velocity of the communities development accelerates greatly. The older QBs in the community such as Brett Rypien (Denver Broncos), Miles Hastings (UC DAVIS), Josh Love (NFL FA), Aidan Sayin (Penn Commit), Julian Sayin (Class Of 2024 TOP RECRUIT, Carlsbad HS), Gunnar Hensley (One of San Diego’s top 2022 QBS, Mission Hills) are experiencing their current success, they inspire and affirm to the younger QBs in our community, that things are possible and they can and will have the same success as people that grew up from the same roots.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
The parents who raise their kids to a higher standard. They instill an intense work ethic blended with respect, kindness ness and fair play. My athletes exhibit a high football IQ compounded with passion. This passion I experience playing San Dieguito Pop Warner manifests itself in my coaching. I love the community and football.

What I like least is that our pro team and mentors left the city of San Diego. Otherwise, I love my hometown. Encinitas and California are the best. Grateful.
