Hi Sandy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I created Social Luxury Picnics because I’ve always had a passion for event planning & design. One of my other favorite things is spending time & making memories with friends… so this was just the perfect idea to create a unique space where those two come together!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting the company has been fairly smooth, when it’s something you love doing it makes it a lot more enjoyable. The toughest part was probably learning as I go in the beginning with no business experience, but I definitely have learned a ton of great things along the way!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m very proud to say that I do it all – from start to finish! With a little help, of course. Every detail I try and make perfect and unique for every event…From the floral arrangements, tablescape designs to the charcuterie boards…they are all things I love. I really enjoy being able to be creative and make each event special in its own way, with a soft, unique, bohemian design.

What matters most to me is that guests are impressed and happy! And they are able to make incredible memories with friends & family through our events.
