Rising Stars: Meet Sean Lundy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sean Lundy.

Hi Sean, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Graduated from Coastal Carolina University. Moved to San Diego in 2012, suffered fracture to neck (c-5) and couldn’t walk for 14 months. After the recovery, I know I wanted to have an impact on my community with my career choice. Began personal training and community activist in 2016. Ever since I started, I’ve been passionate to become a better person one day at a time. My non Profit org Playfect is a community organized program that utilizes fitness and health to impact the youth and families in our community. My style of training is labeled as fun and effective. I’ve been called a top trainer in the area but I just want to be the best version of myself. My vision/plan to help my community is by far my greatest attribute.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Broke my neck in 2012 (football injury) Covid caused me to move my business. But with proper planning, my business thrived during covid.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
