Meet Chelsea Adair of All Levels of Life in Encinitas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Adair.

Chelsea, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Courage, ambition and a passion for helping others are what led me to the place I am in today. Hey! I’m Chelsea and I am a Health, Life and Transformation Coach.

My own transformational journey began in 2015 after spending most of my young adult life in emotional, physical and spiritual turmoil. I was in a cycle of numbing, with no direction or idea of where to turn. I was working a miserable, soul-sucking corporate job, spending my weekends getting wasted and living back at my parent’s house after leaving college- I felt like a shell of the woman I was supposed to be. When things finally reached a breaking point and my addictive and self-destructive behaviors were at an all-time high, I decided it was time to take action. I dove straight into the inner work with therapy modalities like CBT and DBT. I began meditating, exercising regularly and ate a gluten-free, sugar-free diet. I deleted all social media, stepped away from friendships that weren’t serving me and re-evaluated what my core values were. Doing so allowed me to cultivate a new vision for my life. I spent a year fully committed to myself to let go of everything I had been to step into the woman I knew I was destined to be. I was determined to forge a new path for myself. Fast forward four years later and I now live at the beach (which was literally a dream of mine!), I own my own business and have built incredible, life-long relationships along the way. I worked my way out of the darkness and stepped into my light.

As a Life, Health and Transformation Coach, my work is incredibly rewarding. I work with women ranging from the ages of 15 to 50 in both the private and group settings. I get to share my story from pain to purpose and empower others with the tools I used on my journey. I stand as living proof that, as soon as you think it’s all over, you have the power to begin again.

I know that this is just the beginning of my life’s work and I am grateful and excited to see how my journey of healing and transformation will impact and inspire others to share their light.

Has it been a smooth road?
Absolutely not! It’s been messy, frustrating, and downright overwhelming at times. I would say the biggest challenge for me was learning how to surrender to the plans of the Universe. Having patience and trust in times of struggle, like when I’m freaking out over how my bills will get paid, is a practice. The unpredictability that comes with starting a business -literally out of nothing- is enough to cause anyone a few extra heart palpitations. But, I’ve learned to trust the process. Part of which was listening to my intuition. Before I stepped into this role of a Coach and Transformation Expert, I was a Personal Trainer and Physical Therapist Aide working my way towards PT (Physical Therapy) School. It seemed like the “logical” path to take, but I felt like parts of my gifts of healing and helping others were not being used. I had to get over my ego and let go of my fear of judgment in order to step into my true life purpose as a teacher, coach, and influencer. I felt like I would disappoint my family by honoring what my heart was calling me to do, but I now see how that was part of my lesson. I saw that this would lead me to be able to help even more people throughout my life. Obstacles and challenges will always be present, but I’ve learned to view them in a new light. As the author and spiritual teacher (and someone who has had a massive impact on my journey), Gabrielle Bernstein says: Obstacles are Detours in the Right Direction.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the All Levels of Life story. Tell us more about the business.
All Levels of Life is the platform by which I teach others how to optimize their health on all levels: Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual. I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Health Coach, and Transformation Expert. I specialize in teaching people how to build habits and a new way of living that is both sustainable and enjoyable. I’m known for my ability to bring the light out in others- my way of balancing power with compassion in my coaching practice is something unique to me. I have the gift of empathy and can easily see someone for who they truly are, behind all of their defenses and blocks. My story and my life experiences are what sets me apart from others. There is something different about a person who learns from a course and someone who has learned from real-life experience. I have been in a space of complete darkness and hopelessness, and discovered a way out that is rooted in personal power and self-love. Teaching comes naturally to me because I know in that this is what I was placed on this earth to do. To serve as a reminder that everyone is worthy of being healthy, happy and free.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The coaching space has grown exponentially in the last five years. With the rise of mental health awareness and the use of social media sites as business platforms, there are more and more coaches, webinars and mastermind groups available to everyone. Potentially, I see coaches working alongside western medical doctors to improve patient health and overall life satisfaction. I recently partnered with a local chiropractic clinic to do just that and have been providing life coaching services to some of their patients to complement their chiropractic care plans. I see so much benefit in this because, rather than looking for an immediate “fix”, these people are provided with the tools they need to create life-long changes to their health. My vision is that the awareness and utilization of coaches will continue to expand and grow, guiding people away from the rapidly increasing rates of depression and anxiety and into a life of joy and vitality.
