Check out Travis Enck

Today we’d like to introduce you to Travis Enck.

Travis, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
My passion has always been filmmaking ever since I was a kid. I started offering video production services right out of high school in 2009. For the past ten years, I’ve grown my business in my home state of Nebraska. I specialized in handcrafted wedding films along with some event/commercial video. In November 2017, I made a drastic change in my life. I took out a small loan, bought an empty cargovan, and spent the next several months, converting it into a home on wheels. Now, I travel full-time with my golden retriever and make brand films for fellow passionate entrepreneurs. I’m also sharing my own stories as I travel and run my business through my personal brand, TravTravels. I’ve never been more excited about what the future has in store, and I truly believe the best is yet to come!

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I create handcrafted films that are full of story and emotion. My goal is to capture small moments that add up to the bigger picture. When you watch my films, I want you to feel like you are living it. I want you to get to know the artist, creative, or entrepreneur I’m featuring within just a couple of minutes. Each film I create is as unique as the subject(s) being portrayed. My goal is to push myself further with every project to pursue.

Do current events, local or global, affect your work and what you are focused on?
I think as artists, it is so important for us to be as authentic and expressive as we can right now in our own way. We can easily get wrapped up in all the advertisements and the polished Instagram posts that appear to be “normal” life for us to compare ourselves to. But when you see a raw piece of art that you can get a new perspective from, be inspired, learn something about yourself or the artist, that’s something people can really connect with and is so special.

With my art being my films, I keep them very real. My approach is to keep them a little less scripted and a lot more of what really goes on behind the scenes. I feel that more people can connect to this sort of art.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
