Meet Miguel Garcia of Spicy Mikes Michi Mix and Dip in Oceanside

Thanks for sharing your story with us, Miguel. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
All started with a wrong order, made a big batch of mix for the wrong weekend for a family party I thought about what I was going to do with all the mix, out of no where I was like I have to make my money back so I went and bought some soup containers and asked my friends if they would like to buy some it kicked off made my money back, and the next week they asked me if I had more it started to be weekly and orders started growing it started to take off and I stared a legit business out of it. I have a couple of restaurants and bars right now that carry my stuff nowhere I want to be yet but for sure progressing I would be wherein at now without the help of my brother and friends and family

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Not a smooth road at all this is totally new to me theirs a lot of regulations and legal stuff that is super confusing at times and I have really nobody to ask I have to figure it out it’s a lot of stress sometimes, but I keep it pushing I try to stay positive

I am in the business of making Michelada mix and dip basically a blend of tomato juice and spices for the mix some people know it as red beer mix my other products are called dips Its basically a candied jam for the rim of your beer my 2 flavors are Chamoy and spicy mango pineapple what I’m most proud of as a company is that it started from nothing and it has so much potential, and we are striving to get to the top .what sets us apart is our flavor our freshness it taste real, not artificial from the Michi mix to our dips they are uniquely different from everybody else

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, we lived in a rough neighborhood, but it thought us all we know. My personality is fun relaxed, but I also have a bit of a wild side I like to do different things always into something new trying new things I liked perfecting or doing something then moving on to the next thing a jack of all trades I would say, lol.
