Kenneth, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
Started playing trumpet at a young age and joined a mariachi band. Stopped music all together to skateboard and focus on school. After high school I decided to rekindle my passion for music because of a skateboarding Injury and chose hip-hop to express how I view the world.

We’d love to hear more about your work. What do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I am the one-half founder (along with @yogamattyah) of “Beach City” music which is a mash-up of different sounds including modern trap drums or hip-hop percussion with synth pad sounds and uses auto-tune to enhance the singer’s voice for a more watery fluid vibe. Not every song includes auto-tune, but most do to create the sound itself. The messages behind the music can vary from beach life, parties, fun, but can also have very serious concepts as well as addressing family life, world issues, and dealing with mental health. I hope people will take away whatever is needed for them at that particular time to help further their life path.

What do you think it takes to be successful as an artist?
Success to me is defined by reaching personal goals. Meaning if you truly believe that the decisions you have made up until that point have benefited you and your career that’s successful.
