Gabriela, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Ever since I was a young girl, I have always aspired to design my own line of fashion. I would spend my days going to the fabrics store and daydreaming about what could become with a simple piece of fabric. As the years passed, my eagerness for designing grew and I began to learn how to create my own designs; I started getting into designing handbags after I had designed my first bag out of cloth when I was 16. Now, I carefully craft and hand-make my own genuine leather handbags. The fire and motivation that I had as a young girl has never burnt out since my first design. I am proud that what was once a dream of mine…has now become reality!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Building a business from the ground-up has definitely not been easy; I have faced many obstacles along the way but the road is never a walk-in-the-park. Trying to create an effective and driven team was very difficult at first because not everyone has the same level of motivation and desire as you may have to become successful.
However, when you have your own company, you need to become a problem-solver because there will always be obstacles along the way and you need to have a tunnel vision to want to yearn for success and overcome anything that comes your way. You need to be 100% focused on your career goals on top of working hard, being constant, and disciplined! Have a positive attitude every day; without it, your problems will seem greater and your achievements will feel smaller. Si se puede! Siempre!

The foundation of my Collection is that all of my designs are made with the best genuine leather, carefully handcrafted one-by-one, and taken care of every step of the way. I know that my collection is very unique compared to other handbags because they are created for the individual in mind who dares to be the center of attention with its creative design and feminine style. I am very proud of myself for never set aside my dreams since I was a young girl. I have worked with great enthusiasm and perseverance to achieve everything I dreamt of and more!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I see my business growing more and more every year. I have seen the numbers and I feel very proud of my capabilities to have been able to steadily grow my business over the years. I have many dreams for what my business can become but there is still so much work to do! This is barely the beginning!
