Has it been a smooth road to establish and maintain a business being a Female Entrepreneur? No, it has not.
It has been harder for me to be respected by competition that is managed by mainly Males. Sarcasm and smirks have and still are thrown to my direction but I keep my head up and trust that my work speaks for its self. So far, the “word of mouth” have supported me in such a powerful way. When families find out that the owner also speak directly with them, also makes arrangements, handles cases and polishes the caskets; they get impressed.
