Life and Work with Chella Diaz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chella Diaz.

Chella knew at a very young age how to manage money, at nine years old, she would go to the Farmer’s market and knew the vendors that had the best product at the lowest price. She purchased her car at 17 and her first home at 23. Chella was married for 17 years and had two sons. For over 15 years, Chella has been on her spiritual journey.

Chella has been hosting workshops to empower women to master their money skills. Her simple approach to creating a spending plan that will serve you today and for many years to come will allow you to reach your financial goals with joy and grace. Chella has worked with many coaches and mentors and created a program that meets each client where they are and provides them with the tools they need to unpack their emotional baggage around money.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I started out by hosting workshops for high school students. I published my book “Money Boot Camp” and thought I would be able to sell books to make a living. Well, that was not the case. I was invited to host a workshop for women. I shared my five step process to get your money journey on track and started coaching women. I took several courses to get tools to help more clients. One year I attended conferences 165 days out of the year. One of the things that helped me the most is accountability partners. We hold each other accountable we help each other on our low days and are there to celebrate our wins. I highly recommend getting a group of three people together to support you on your journey. Read the autobiography of successful people. Follow people that achieve that you want. Find ways to give back, I volunteered for the Discover Shop for many years and I learned so much. Get curious and ask questions.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I am a Money Relationship Coach, Author, Speaker. I empower women to master their money skills. I help them identify and release money baggage. I provide them with the tools they need to set and achieve their money goals. I’m proud of the shifts my clients make and the way they show up in life how they give back to their community and help others. I believe the money convention we listened to as children have a direct impact on our current financial picture. Once you see the pattern, you can choose to do something different. A bonus of working with me is you see life with a new set of eye and you attract more fun and joy.

Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
Yes, I was a curious child and wanted to learn. I wanted to taste different foods and learn about cultures. My dad taught me about good work ethics and how to party. I believe having a balanced life is key to our success.
