Meet NATAL1E MUSIC

Today we’d like to introduce you to NATAL1E MUSIC.

So, before we jump into specific questions about your music, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Since I could ever imagine, I’ve been in love with the art of creativity, whether it’s music, film, art, writing, etc. I’ve always been infatuated with the idea that we all start with this blank canvas and our minds, experiences and emotions begin to fill this canvas. Nothing brings me to life more than making music and writing songs. That is my blank canvas, and we see where the music goes. I’ve always wanted to help inspire and motivate other people to follow their creative outlets as well because I think its absolutely crucial to the human mind and heart to have something for themselves in the form of art, music, photography, videography writing or whatever it may be so I think that is what has gotten me to where I am today and keeps me pushing forward no matter what. I now know my mission and goal through music is to help people see the fire and light that they have inside of themselves and that anything is possible when you just get up and start. There will be dark days, there will be downs, but those all come with the good days and the ups. You can’t change people with your words but you can damn sure inspire them with your actions.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has been anything BUT a smooth road I would say, haha. But I think that’s a beautiful thing that every human being can relate to. We all struggle, we all have obstacles, we all have felt hopeless before but the goal is to always get back up. Take your time, feel your feels, don’t rush yourself to being this perfect positive Pauly and act like everything okay. We all need to get better at remembering that it’s okay to not feel okay. But never stay down, never stay there. Fight every day to move forward. My own struggles consist of so many things, but I would say overthinking and indecisiveness cost me a lot of time where I should have been putting music out but I honestly couldn’t handle what people would like, what they wouldn’t like. It is such a mind game. But the more I’ve worked on myself, my vulnerability, my confidence, my overall health, I’ve come to the conclusion that it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks or says. The only thing that matters is, are you enjoying it. Does it make you happy? That’s the most important thing. Then you just research, study, and work at it every day. Pivot around the obstacles and challenges to find solutions, and keep moving forward day by day.

Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I’m a rapper/song-writer. I enjoy writing all genres of music but for myself personally, hip hop is where the heart is. Nothing feels better than when you sit down, play a beat loud and get that pen going on paper. It’s truly the most captivating feeling for me. I lose track of time, pain, sorrow, and its just the best mental and emotional release.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I couldn’t imagine myself living anywhere else in the country. We have everything here. Our city life, the beach, the mountains, the lakes, etc. San Diego is the most beautiful place for me. I do believe there is so much opportunity out here for all over us to grow and become successful on our own individual paths and there’s also so much room for collaborating with others as well! It all depends on what you’re starting, I mean if you live in a small town of 400 in Arkansas or something, yes get out haha go to coast for sure. But mostly it all depends on you and your work ethic, with technology and the internet where it’s at right now, everyone has an even playing field.
