Hi Stephanie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
As long as I can remember, I have been absolutely enthralled with all things beauty and the beauty industry. In pursuing a career in the industry, I quickly learned how representation is everything. Many women like myself are counted out, and it is so rare to see an advertisement, marketing, or services that are catered to everyone and not just the European beauty standard. I started airbrushing in the sunless industry over ten years ago, and I was a recent LA transplant chasing dreams. In an attempt to fit in with the social LA norm of being a tall skinny, hot, blonde, I learned the stories of many other women who fell upon the same fate as myself.
We were all exhausted of chasing an impossible beauty standard that none of us fit. We all wanted to feel beautiful, confident, healthy, and glow. That’s when I started my brand Bronzed Ambition.Co. I had many months during our Covid Lockdown to sit with myself and come to terms with the fact that I had tried so hard to fit in when in fact, I really needed to by myself and stand out. Bronzed Ambition.Co is a safe, clean ingredient, body-positive, inclusive spray tanning beauty collective. I not only custom airbrush all shapes, sizes, and genders, I have created a safe environment for you to be yourself unapologetically because everyone deserves to Glow. Bronzed Ambition.Co also offers a Sunless Mastercourse and Mentorship program with a focus on training courses that go in detail on spraying all kinds of shapes and spraying the beautiful color ranges of POC’s because training like this is so often overlooked and not included in general sunless education.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has definitely been a journey. I would say the biggest struggle with starting this business has been an internal one. It took a lot of healing and coming to terms with the fact that everyone is worthy all things beautiful no matter what. I had spent so many years hating my body and appearance, and I have met so many individuals that have struggled as well. Once I decided to create my own lane and stop trying to emulate what I thought was beautiful based on what society taught me, I absolutely flourished. The creative process became so natural and I am so happy to be moving through life with nothing but love for my individuality because it is what has made my brand thrive in such an unsure time for small business owners.

I specialize in custom sunless airbrushing for all shapes and shades. I want everyone to protect the glorious skin they are in by going sunless for that healthy sought after glow because F*ck Skin Cancer and Sun Damage.
Custom Airbrushing can be used for day-to-day glows or special events like Weddings, Proms, Photoshoots, etc. Each session and color is custom formulated to bring out the best in everyone’s skin tone. One size does not fit all, and the same goes for your glow. These glows are tailored to you, and it should always be like that.
