Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Jenkins.
Hi Jenna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Born and raised here in San Diego (east county most of my life), been doing hair for 15yrs (straight out of high school), I rent a booth at salon thrive, which is located in Santee. I am a busy mom of two boys, one which is a freshman at Westhills High School and one in 2nd grade at Carlton hills. My 14-year-old son James is on the West hills football team and my 7-year-old son Jack plays baseball and does jiu-jitsu.
My husband started his own company two years ago; he is a concrete contractor and is doing very well for a small business and does a ton of work in the area. The things that are most important to our family is working hard but also playing hard! We love to go to the river. We love to entertain and host parties at our house, love going to Padre games. We stay extremely busy but wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Life always throws you different challenges but you just have to continue to push forward and give it your all and things seem to always work out ❤️ giving up is never an option!! Two years ago, we bought our house in eucalyptus hills lakeside and gutted and remodeled the house just my husband and me before we moved in that was a huge challenge but also probably our greatest success.

I’ve been doing hair for 15 years… It is absolutely my dream job and my passion! I work full-time, usually 50 hours a week and have a very busy schedule and a full clientele that I love and cherish so very much. ❤️ I would say color is definitely my favorite part of my job, and especially blonde, I tend to do a lot of those!! I’m extremely proud of myself for building a loyal clientele base that keeps me busy and help me financially provide the life I want for my family!
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Providing my children with the best life I can is definitely my #1 goal!! Also, running my successful business and enjoying life! Also, my dog Jojo 😍 she is the princess of the family.
