Today we’d like to introduce you to Drew D’Andrea.
Drew, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Adversity. I’ve had so much more happiness since I’ve let that go. I became a mama at 20. Never in my life, I thought I’d have kids after being told I will never have children. Not at 20. In the middle of me pursuing physical therapy school. I came back home and started a new life. Got married, had started a new journey with dental. Then I got pregnant within the 3rd week of school. Earned all my certifications, passed most of my tests, all with baby Ava in my tummy. Ava entered the world a week before I graduated, I came right back to school three days later & graduated. I took my love for teeth and became a RDA. I’ve lost every single job I got hired for as an assistant because I was given up on. There was a lot of competition in this field I didn’t know about. I felt beaten down, my confidence was lost, oh and going through postpartum during all this was really fun. I tried everything. I’ve given up on myself at this point. I’m lost with people’s opinions and judgments. Raising two toddlers. Keeping a roof over their head. Putting food on the table for them, all without a job.
I have a beautiful family that loves and supports me. I have so many outsiders looking in wanting me to fail but I choose not to. I overcome. As a mama, I’m learning as I go that nothing I do will ever be perfect but I’m present, I’m here. I’m doing it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

I am proud to say I’m an independent business owner who loves oral health. Blue light therapy is what I specialize in. There is not another teeth whitening service in the area besides LA.
