Today we’d like to introduce you to Lacey Meier.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I grew up an adopted Korean American in Oregon with a stay home mom who cooked every meal. Our meals consisted of very typical variety of “American Food”. Once I moved out is when I started getting an interest in cooking. I got tired of paying for food that was just ok and realized that I could make my own and make it better. Through world travel, I have been able to enjoy a variety of foods and see how it’s the one thing no matter religion, culture or borders that can unit people. I started a blog that featured recipes around 2013. I gradually transferred into the Instagram/social media world and started with promoting products from a company called Try The World. The rest is history. I now focus on restaurants that I think are worth trying, some products and foodie events.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I always looked at it as more of a hobby than a job and considered my struggles as challenges.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a Foodie Social Media Influencer that focuses on newly opening restaurants and places I think are worth the visit and foodie events. I mix a little travel in there too (which always includes food of course).
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I’m very open with my life and any questions you may have, I am happy to answer.
