Hi Alexa, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My Esthetician Journey began when the pandemic hit. During this time, I was working at a law firm “using” the degree I worked so hard on for the past five years. I never enjoyed a day in that office so when they let most of us go, it was the happiest day ever. March 2020, we went into full lockdown and I knew I had nothing but time on my hands to do what I have been wanting to do since I was little. Be in the beauty industry. I have always been a fanatic of everything beauty and have been getting my lashes done for about eight years. It always was something that really called my attention. I use to practice or stand by my lash artist every time I would go in to get mine done. In August 2020 I started school at Bellus Academy. My friends and family would always come in and let me practice anything on them even if I was sticking their eyes shut. They always were so patient with me. Months later I graduated and was a licensed Esthetician. From that day on, I created my business Face by Ale and it has been up from there. I have the most amazing clients and am so proud I have a business to call my own.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For the most part, yes, but there are times where things slow down and you have to push harder. Post more, advertise and do whatever you have to do.

My Business is Face by Ale. I am a licensed Esthetician that specializes in lashes and brows. I am mostly known for my lashes but I am starting my journey with Microblading in the process. My work is always different depending on the person, not one Lash set is the same, and not one set of brows looks the same as the person before. I always make sure we are doing different things depending on what each client wants while always keeping the look very classy.
The thing I am the proudest of is the amount of clients that always come back and always leave happy. That is why I do what I do. I enjoy making people prettier and seeing their faces when they get the mirror to see the work, I have done on them.
