Check Out Assia and Soumaya Bayoud’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Assia and Soumaya Bayoud.

Hi Assia and Soumaya, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
The journey started back in 2019 when we created our IG account as twin models and influencers who share their lifestyle and fashion tips and tricks with followers. 2 years later, we created a YouTube channel where we started sharing a lot more about ourselves as Moroccans and our rich and interesting culture. Surprisingly people specifically (Arabs) loved our content, so we started getting recognized and being known as the happy and optimistic twins who love spreading positive energy and make beautiful things out anything. since we are interior architecture students, we also enjoy making DIYs and sharing them in our YouTube channel to make it more informative and interesting to watch.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Working full-time job, full-time students, and managing two social media platforms has definitely not been that easy in the beginning. As we all know growing on social media and becoming a successful influencer and content creator requires lots of time and effort but with our hard work, positive energy, and the love for what we do, we managed to balance between all of them and do the best we can with the faith that hard work pays off one day.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We go to Columbia college Chicago for interior architecture; however, we work as personal shoppers and stylists as well as YouTubers, social media influencers, and content creators.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
We would like to give this advice to those just starting out and those who are THINKING of starting out. First. Don’t think twice if it’s in your mind and you wanna do it; just do it. You will learn as you go. And when you start try to be yourself, do what you love, and take it step by step. Expect obstacles and challenges because they are part of the process and most importantly is to NEVER NEVER AND NEVER give up just keep going.
