Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey into the private investigation world began approximately 10-11 years ago when I was hired as a part-time investigative trainee for a small Private Investigation company. Shortly after, I was hired by a larger Private Investigation company as a full-time Surveillance Investigator handling insurance, worker’s compensation, and liability claims. After several years with the company, in pursue to gain additional investigative skills and grow as an investigator, I elected to leave the company and began working for Private Investigation company where I worked as an Undercover agent. After a short time as an Undercover agent, I worked for multiple other Private Investigation companies where I was able to learn other skills, gain experience, and ultimately grow as a professional investigator. In 2018 I applied for my Private Investigation licensed and successfully passed the California exam and gained my license. I continued to educate myself in the world of investigations and in 2022 opened by own Private Investigation agency, Affirm Investigative Solutions. where specialize in civil investigation and insurance fraud.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all, but it had been rewarding. Many skills, I had to learn on my own and I am very proud of that. I spent endless hours reading, attending seminars, webinars, and learning from other colleagues to grow as a professional.
