Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
At 16 years old I suffered with Acne Vulgaris, an incredibly painful inflammatory acne condition even the Dermatologist I was seeing struggled to remedy. In attempts to heal myself, I acquired an abundance of information relating to skin care, skin function, and product formulation over the next 2 years.
After graduating from high school and enjoying a 2-month summer vacation hiatus, I then enrolled in the Advanced Esthetics program at Bellus Academy and leaned into my newfound passion!
Unfortunately, Covid caused my career to have a bit of a rocky start. After completing my esthetics program in March of 2020, the county shut down just a few days later. I wasn’t able to obtain my license until a year later due to the state halting all examinations.
I worked at two different day spas in La Mesa. These opportunities taught me how to hone in on customer relations and find my personal, unique facial rhythm & technique.
When my last day spa job of nearly a year came to a quick halt and I was laid off, I made the jump to go out on my own and rent a studio space with the rest of my savings.
With the help of a new friend and an amazing stranger with a helping hand, my brand-new business found its home!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest struggles I encountered have been gathering enough funding to invest in all my desired equipment and maintaining confidence in my future plans when things take longer than expected.

I specialize in gentle, progressive, corrective skin care and body waxing.
All of the products I use rely on naturally derived ingredients for efficacy. I don’t use any products with non-functional fillers, colorants, or fragrances to protect the integrity of the skin.
I always focus on client comfortability and properly gaging skin reactivity to create a treatment plan that targets the client’s skin goals.
I strive to provide affordable skincare and hair removal services to people of all genders, ethnicities, & sexual orientations!
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
No matter how much you plan and prepare, nothing can be perfect.
