Hi Colleen, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Professionally, I’m a Spiritual Intuitive, Reset Your Vibe Energy Coach, and the creator of Crystallize Your Vision program for heart-centered leaders ready to transform suffering and self-doubt into Clarity, Confidence, and Creativity.
It didn’t start out that way.
Being the eldest of two girls, I felt the pressure of being the eldest and held jobs since a young teen. I was highly independent and felt like a grown adult living inside a young girl’s body never experiencing the enjoyment of true childhood. Growing up in a family of alcoholism, addiction, poor communication, hidden emotional trauma, and exposure to sexual trauma, I felt a sense of unworthiness, disconnection, sometimes depression and unexpressed emotion which morphed into a 30-year struggle of an eating disorder that trapped my true joy. Immediately after graduating high school, I began a full-time 11-year career in the forest industry involved in sales and marketing of lumber products to Europe and North America.
During my corporate career, my beloved cousin Rob and father Gerry were each diagnosed with cancer inside of 2 1/2 years. Both men transitioned (passed away) within 9 months of each other. My life flipped upside down and the stored pain and tears started rolling out. During my grief healing journey, I started to fee the spiritual presence of Rob and Dad as if they were communicating with me. I’d always known I was a highly sensitive soul and deeply intuitive, but the ways they were showing their presence through moving objects, electricity, sensations and touches, clairaudience (hearing), and inside dreams were so profound and often that my attention did a 180-degree turn. I expanded on my current passion of fitness and healthy living and started attending spiritual churches, participating in meditation groups, psychic readings, energy bodywork, and everything to open my own intuitive more to better recognize and interpret spirit messages from the other side. I joined a spiritual community and training program called Shamballa Trainings. Over 3 1/2 years I studied eastern traditions and the western mind, graduating as a Certified Rebirther with Spiritual Coaching under her belt.
Always dreaming of work/life balance and having my own business, the doors of HeartLink Consulting opened wider in October 2002 offering Intuitive Coaching, Bodywork, and Breathwork.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Along the spectrum of personal and professional growth, it was definitely not a smooth road to the deep trust I feel today.
Personally, I battled self-confidence and emotional eating struggles, multiplied by a decade of multiple losses of the passing of so many loved ones I deeply cared about. Following my dad and cousin Rob, I lost my sister, aunt, grandma, grandpa, boyfriend, best friend and soul sister, cousins, and dear friends who passed from alcohol, addiction, cancer, heart disease, and Alzheimer’s year after year.
Professionally was an uphill challenge growing my sole entrepreneurship. Learning the ropes of marketing was like throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping it will stick. I engaged in old-school marketing like word-of-mouth, cold marketing, and travelling to networking brunches and live events to grow my presence.
Navigating my way out of a financial bankruptcy deeply tested my core strength and posed the question, “Am I meant to keep going and growing HeartLink Consulting to truly help guide women and men to connect with their Heart, overcome struggle and heal their body and open to their incredible and a life of vibrant health and true passion?” and the answer was always a resounding “YES!!!”

Yes.
Align yourself with a coach, mentor, or educators who you resonate with energetically, feel a good vibe toward, and who you admire who is already two or ten steps ahead of you and created the success you desire and want. Learn from them.
My other important piece of advice is TRUST YOURSELF by listening to your intuitive voice that knows best what is good for you, when you tap into the silence and sensation of the energy. You always know what is best for you in each moment. You only have a difficult time listening and trusting your own intuitive brilliance.
