Daily Inspiration: Meet Christina & Andrew Lillge

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina & Andrew Lillge.

Hi Christina & Andrew, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Our story started out very traditionally — went to college, got the degree, and landed the fancy corporate job. About a year and a half in I remember sitting at my desk knowing there has to be more out there. (I know very cliche but so true) Shortly after that, I put in my two weeks’ notice and never looked back. The first version of our design business was born in October 2018. Since then, the business has evolved into Seventh Made where it is our mission to provide forward-thinking out-of-the-box website templates and support to photographers so they can spend more time doing what they love. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just starting, our website templates help photographers build their businesses online and establish themselves as the professional. Rooted in community and inclusivity, Seventh Made is here for all and dedicated to supporting our community.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No but it has been an exciting one. When you’re first starting out it’s all the things that you essentially have to fail through so you can figure out what works for you and what doesn’t. For example, one of the first challenges is finding clients and then booking clients. I remember my first client I made a contract very quickly via canva and googling what to put on that contract, and then I sent it to the client. Where she had to then print it out, sign it, scan it, and email that back to me. And then as you progress in your business new challenges continue present themselves. A fun challenge we are currently in is collaborating with other business owners to help one another serve our communities better.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We create website templates for photographers that give you that custom look and feel without the custom price tag. Our goal is to really set our community up for success so that every photographer feels confident with their new website. Something that really sets us apart is our unique design style and our genuine support, care, and dedication to serving our community.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up I’ve always been a creative with a love for fashion. Spending the majority of my time drawing, painting, or playing outside with my two brothers. There was always something fun to do outside.
