Hi Megan, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I got started in social media and content creation in 2021, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. I used my passion for Disney to fuel my creativity and started creating fun and relatable videos around Disney and living a magical lifestyle. I have continued to create and adapt my content to keep up with trends, which has led me to where I am today. I love to make people smile with my content…and help them on their next Disney trip!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a challenging road but a rewarding one. Hate comments and people who simply try to bring you down comes with the territory. I do my best to block it all out and focus on my work. I have also hit creative ruts from time to time which can be discouraging, but I take breaks and am able to get back to writing and creating when I am ready.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in social media and content creation. I am also a tennis coach as well! I am most proud of my creativity and work/life balance. I like to take on multiple tasks, and I am able to complete them with good time management.
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
The most valuable asset we will have in life is TIME. I was able to spend more time with my family, my dog, my boyfriend, and I will never take that for granted. We also need to look out for each from time to time. Check-in on friends and family. You never know what someone is going through and if they need someone to talk to.
