Today, we’d like to introduce you to Alyssa Ebba.
Hi Alyssa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started with photography class in high school. I enjoyed the engagement between chemicals and how the sun affected the picture paper.
It was very interesting to see how everything affected each other and how things worked. As an adult, I quickly learned that setting up a studio like this was out of budget for me, so I discovered DSLR cameras.
I started by doing TFP shoots to build a portfolio and eventually made a name for myself.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road.
Especially when COVID hit, and everyone had to quarantine, I was not able to get much clientele. I then decided to experiment with other ways to express my creativity. I dabbled in doing nails, buying a Cricut, and making gifts for loved ones.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Ebbalasting Photography specializes in portrait and special event photography. However, we are open to any and all other styles. We have been credited by many clients for having a quick turnaround time, which I feel sets us apart from others.
Seeing client’s reactions when they get the finished product is the main reason I do this, and seeing my work on their walls is a very, very heartwarming feeling for me. Aside from photography and videography services, we also offer custom handmade products such as t-shirts, drinking cups, mugs, tote bags, etc.
Any big plans?
I’m looking forward to being more out there and possibly participating in more vendor fairs to promote my business and sell my handmade products.
