Atishia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Atishia Hall, born in Mississippi raised in San Diego. I balance my life between being a high school dance teacher, mother of two, and a style influencer. I grew up with a passion for dance and fashion, a passion that never went away. My fashion sense has always been inspired from my experiences as a dancer, bringing in elements of hip hop culture, streetwear, and clothing that works well with movement. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There has certainly been a fair share of bumps in the road, but if there is one thing I believe is that “Everything Happens For a Reason” and while the reasons might be unknown there are always bigger, better and more exciting things ahead. Owning my own dance studio, has been my biggest dream alongside becoming an actress. I have worked hard, and while sometimes it was an uphill battle, I believe my dreams are around the corner, and I am determined to reach them all while teaching and learning my journey through motherhood..
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I would definitely say the arts are the root of everything I do. I have always been proud of how the arts has inspired me in my youth. striving to build a community in the SouthBay, where our youth can feel inspired and motivated by many different aspects of the arts, and push for those to be careers. I take humble pride in the ability to motivate my students and social media followers that simply being you, unapologetically is more than enough .
