Meet Shandell & Dradley Desamours of Temecula, CA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shandell & Dradley Desamours.

Shandell & Dradley Desamours

Hi Shandell & Dradley, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
As a prior military family, we were used to traveling and/or living in a bunch of different places. Once we decided to settle in California, we thought it would be really dope to document the places we visited locally. So we created @allthingsdesamours, a family lifestyle instagram page that is dedicated to sharing family friendly activities throughout Southern California.

As the page and our audience grows, we want to continue to encourage other families to enjoy precious moments together.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road! Content creation is not for the faint at heart, if it was then everyone would be doing it, and everyone would be successful. There are moments of doubt (Do I really want to post this? Are people going to like it? etc) but times where we catch genuine moments of pure family fun makes it all worth it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Family content creation involves producing digital content, such as videos, photos, or written posts, that focus on family life and experiences. This often includes sharing personal stories, daily routines, challenges, and joys of family life. The goal is to connect with an audience by providing relatable, entertaining, or informative content about family dynamics.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Shandell – My favorite childhood memory has to be Christmas morning around the age of like 7 or 8. I vividly remember waking up, opening presents and then spending the day playing with cousins and friends in the street. Something about that day of play sticks with me.

Dradley – I remember playing football as a child and being afraid of contact but one day I was the last person in position to make the hit and I closed my eyes and layed this kid out when i opened my eyes were both on the ground. My coaches and teammates were so happy and proud and it taught me that we tend to over think the worst case scenario’s but its ok to just do it!
