Hey there! We’re Kate & Poli (aka KALINA). In January 2024, we started sharing our videos, and before long, we hit half a million views. But after a few months, we decided to take a step back, unsure of what our next move should be. Everything changed when we visited Dubai and saw so many creators living their dreams—that experience truly inspired us. In May, we arrived in Bali and committed to creating daily content. By September, our hard work had paid off with over 15K followers and more than 125 million views!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road at all. Working in social media can be an emotional rollercoaster, especially when you face constant criticism from people who tell you you’re doing it all wrong or that you should focus on something “real.” It can be tough, and sometimes it feels like it’s not working. But if you’re pursuing your passion and following your dream, you have to stay strong, block out the negativity, and never give up.

We’re KALINA, a best-friend duo creating lifestyle, travel and dining content. Known for our high-energy, authentic videos, we share everything from iconic destinations to hidden gems.
