Today we’d like to introduce you to Bridget Potterton
Hi Bridget, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started in real estate when I was 23. I really just wanted to learn how to start a business and had the opportunity to help a broker open up his franchise. I later fell in love with real estate and all of the opportunities. I opened up my own brokerage when I was 27. I moved over to Keller Williams a few years later and have been operating my business under them for over 15 years.
My business has changed a lot over 21 years. I now work with not only first time buyers, but very complex transactions. I am one of 4 Certified Divorce Real Estate Experts in San Diego.
My journey was not an easy one but I’m proud of being in the top 1% of San Diego realtors. I am grateful for all of the mentors I have had
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have gone in to business with some people that did not align with my values. I put myself in positions where I had to make tough decisions. The right decisions are not always the easy ones and some times its hard to see past the challenges. I’m grateful to be aligned with a team and a company that puts people and relationships over profit.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Real estate has a lot of twists and turns. My clients tell me I make it look easy! I tell them it took 21 years of experience to make it look that easy!
