Today we’d like to introduce you to Blake River
Hi Blake, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Creative expression has been my source of processing, meditation, and healing for as long as I can remember. The practice of making art opens up a channel for my emotions and experiences to flow through me. I would spend all my time as a kid submerged in the world of building, creating, playing, and imagining. The infinite realm of creation has always filled me with such curiosity and satisfaction.
My heart’s path became clear when I fully surrendered to this inner child’s joy to play and create.
I got to where I am today through the support of family, friends, and community, and our shared value for creativity.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Releasing to my inner child’s world of creativity required me to first acknowledge the layers of my subconscious that wouldn’t allow me to express my truest self. I had piles of judgment and limiting beliefs that I needed to sort through first before I could unlock my individual expression. I needed to learn to truly believe in myself before I could ask anyone else to believe in me too! Shedding these layers took patience, compassion, and perseverance on the bump road. I’m grateful for the challenges that have strengthened my heart along the way.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My artwork uses different mediums but lately I’ve been specializing in handmade jewelry! I design earrings that feel empowering and personally created, using natural materials like botanicals, crystals, shells, and glass beads. Wearing jewelry can be a playful and creative act of self love! I believe in adorning the body with intentional goods that reflect our unique expression and individual beauty.
I also recently started a graphic design brand called NEUROVIBRANT. This apparel is designed to inspire a more inclusive world through Awareness of Neurodiversity. I’m proud to be a creator that offers art as an outlet for people to express themselves and inspire positive change. My story is woven into my art and I’m proud to share these pieces of my being as a path for deeper connection with others.
I’m known for my art becoming a bridge to heart-centered connection. My art offers others the opportunity to explore their truest expressions. I hope to create art that encourages more playfulness, connection, and exploration within our heart’s desires.

Most people who know me are often surprised by the variety of mediums I work with as a creator! There’s usually some kind of creative tool in my belt that even I’m surprised by!
