Life & Work with Kuhpiche of San Diego

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kuhpiche.

Hi Kuhpiche, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi! I’m Kuhpiche, or Peach (yes, like Princess Peach). I started my Instagram page while I was in the Marine Corps. I wasn’t expecting it to go anywhere, it was mostly just for family and some friends back home to keep in touch when I was deployed or traveling. In 2021 I had some major life events happen, and I needed a change. I had always loved motorcycles and always wanted to ride, but never found a reason or opportunity to learn. This was that time frame where the push finally happened. In 2022, I got my M1 license and endorsement, my first bike, and my love of life back again. I made friends, I finally went places aside from work, the gym, and home. I started branching out and posting with my motorcycle and my adventures with other bikers, and for a while, I stayed around 500 or so followers. I wasn’t out to be an influencer, but I was having fun. My account started growing in September of 2024 when I said yes to a video in Balboa with two of my bike friends and my videographer and coworker (@shay.mula). Now, even though my friends joke that I’m “famous”, I do enjoy being a content creator, and my regular self. I want to use my platform and the attention it gets to help give back to the local community. I have two self driven donation funds set up in my link tree to help out the people in need in San Diego this year, and hopefully if it does well I can do it every year and add more to the list!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Mostly the traction gained has been positive, but there will always be people who you can’t please. SDPD and CHP, for example. They have a love-hate relationship with me it seems. Always watching me but only occasionally pulling me over. Generally, I try my best to follow the rules, but I am on a bright green bike with an always changing bow or outfit so I’m a bit hard to ignore. And with any content creator online, the keyboard warriors. Can’t have it all, but they’re usually on a burner account or private. I’m a firm believer of if you’re going to say something, say it with your chest. Best to ignore them though.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am first and foremost, a moto content creator. Motorcycles and sometimes cars, are my life. I ride every day, and I love when people recognize me and say hello or send me a photo or video of them catching me riding. I do a bit of cosplay, including my Princess Peach bike! I dedicated an entire motorcycle to this character after getting her nickname on my last deployment. My pride is in my work when it comes to new designs or recreating a character that I can match with a vehicle. If it fits their style, their personality, I really just want to bring them into the real world and let other people have fun with it. Imagine taking your kids to San Diego during a weekend and all of a sudden you see Princess Peach ride by in her racing outfit and on her bike from the game? It makes me happiest when kids enjoy what I do.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
My linktree! I have the donations I run linked there, as well as any brands I collaborate with, and my email for anyone interested to reach out and contact me for charity work, business inquiries, or anything else.
