Today we’d like to introduce you to Domaniece Blake.
Hi Domaniece, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started off working with multiple artist from San Diego, the Bay Area, La and New York I’ve worked with major artist and independent artist which eventually gave me the opportunity to start interviewing artists my interviews started to become so popular we turned it into a podcast and that’s where we are now focusing on the brand of the podcast, growing the podcast providing positive, helpful, informative and fun content has always been our goal
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I had a bit of a struggle because I didn’t look like the normal journalist or A&R that work with artists. It might have discouraged me so much because I would get so many no’s from artists I started sending my friends that I consider that fit image into them same artist inbox to get the interview or a drop and it seemed to work. It hurt but it made me not give up and keep pushing so eventually there wouldn’t be a beauty standard

I specialize in A&R , Music management, and Podcasting
