Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenn Fenelli.
Hi Jenn, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
For me, this career is more than just a job — it’s a calling to serve others, to give back, and to build something meaningful, not only for myself but for my daughters. As a single mom raising two incredible girls, everything I do is rooted in love, resilience, and the belief that it’s never too late to rebuild a life.
My journey in the real estate industry began in 2004 when I stepped into the world of title insurance. Over the years, I discovered my passion for the people behind the transactions — the agents, the families, the individuals working to make dreams happen. That passion led me to escrow, where I’ve proudly worked .
What I love most is the connection — forming relationships with agents, supporting their growth, and watching them shine. Every deal, every handshake, every successful closing is a reminder that I’m doing what I was meant to do: serve others and create a ripple effect of kindness and support.
I hope my daughters see in me a woman who shows up, gives back, and keeps moving forward with purpose both personally and professionally.. More than anything, I want them to know that rebuilding isn’t just possible — it’s powerful. And it starts with choosing to serve, one day at a time.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all — but I wouldn’t change it. Every bump, every detour has shaped who I am today.
I actually stepped out of the industry for a few years to be a stay-at-home mom. It was a beautiful season, and one I’ll always cherish. But when I found myself going through a divorce, I knew it was time to step back in — not just for me, but for my girls. Rebuilding my book of business from the ground up was one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced. I was essentially starting over, all while navigating one of the most difficult and emotional seasons of our lives.
There were days when it took everything in me to put on a smile and show up — for clients, for coworkers, for my daughters — even when I didn’t feel like I had much left to give. But I did it, one day at a time. And what I found is that when you lead with heart and consistency, people respond. The relationships I’ve built during that time are some of the most meaningful of my career.
The road wasn’t smooth, but it was worth every step. It taught me how strong I really am, and how powerful it can be to keep showing up — even when it’s hard.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I work in escrow, and while some people might see it as just the paperwork side of real estate, I see it as the heart of the transaction. I get to be the steady, behind-the-scenes support that ensures everything runs smoothly for agents and their clients — from open to close. But more than that, I get to build relationships that matter.
I specialize in partnering with real estate agents who want more than just someone to handle documents — they want a true teammate. Someone who genuinely cares about their success, who shows up consistently, and who understands how much trust it takes to hand over your deals to someone else. That’s where I thrive.
What I’m most proud of is the way I’ve built my business: with heart, grit, and authenticity. I had no choice but to rebuild from the ground up. But I didn’t just rebuild — I reconnected with my purpose. And in doing that, I built stronger, more meaningful partnerships than ever before.
Even more importantly, I’ve shown my daughters what it looks like to rise — not just by providing for them financially, but by modeling what it means to live with intention, courage, and resilience. I want them to know that it’s never too late to rewrite your story, chase a purposeful life, and go after what you want — no matter where you’re starting from.
What sets me apart is my intentional approach. I’m not just chasing volume or transactions — I’m here to help agents grow, feel supported, and look good in front of their clients. I care deeply, I follow through, and I do it all with the goal of making people feel seen, supported, and successful.
At the end of the day, I believe people do business with people they trust — and I’ve worked hard to become someone worth trusting.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Most people see me as confident, strong, and steady — especially in my professional life. But what they might not know is that I’ve battled self-doubt more than I care to admit. Rebuilding my business after a major life change wasn’t just a logistical challenge — it was emotional. There were moments I wondered if I could really do it again, if people would trust me, or if I still had a place in the industry.
What pulled me through wasn’t just grit — it was grace. I learned to give myself permission to grow at my own pace and to believe that I didn’t have to have it all figured out to move forward.
Another thing people might not realize is how deeply I care. Behind the scenes, I pray over my clients, I cheer quietly for their wins, and I carry the weight of their stress like it’s my own. I’m in this work not just to close deals, but to make people feel supported and seen — especially when the process gets hard.
