Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Isabell.
Hi Ashley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve been a Physician Assistant for over 12 years. I started my journey at the University of Central Florida, where I majored in Molecular and Microbiology before going on to PA school. After graduating, I moved to San Diego and found my passion in aesthetics. Fun fact — I actually entered the field as a walk-in Botox client at the very clinic where I ended up launching my career! From there, I became a lead clinician where I trained new aesthetic injectors, and was later promoted to regional manager overseeing locations in San Diego and Honolulu. Over the past 11 years, I’ve worked in a range of settings, from med spas to plastic surgery and dermatology offices. In December 2024, I took the leap and opened my own practice — My Aesthetics Haven — to create a space where personalized, elevated care is at the heart of everything we do!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not always smooth — starting your own business comes with a steep learning curve. Opening My Aesthetics Haven meant taking on the financial risk, managing all the overhead, and wearing every hat — from injector and marketer to office manager and HR. There were long nights, tough decisions, and moments of doubt. But each challenge taught me something valuable, and it’s incredibly rewarding to now see my vision come to life and grow.
