Today we’d like to introduce you to Yehonatan.
Hi Yehonatan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
It all started with my own clients… I noticed that many of the approaches I had learned in therapy school just weren’t enough. People came in with trauma, eating disorders, and chronic mental health challenges—often cycling in and out of the treatment world. Again and again, we’d label them with terms like treatment-resistant, complex PTSD, or oppositional defiant disorder. We’d say they had chronic conditions. But despite these labels, I wasn’t seeing real results. And yet, these clients kept showing up, hoping for something more.
That’s when I began a deeper search—an honest quest for the truth: What’s really going on here?
Over time, I realized that many of the things we’re told aren’t possible to heal are only labeled that way because psychotherapy, as a field, hasn’t yet developed the right tools. The potential for healing is there—it’s just that our standard models haven’t fully caught up.
As I pursued my own growth, I began to see what worked for me. Psychotherapy was important, but what moved the needle most were other modalities—especially those that brought me back into connection with my body. I found that somatic practices, when used alongside psychotherapy—especially more contemporary approaches—were incredibly powerful. And when I integrated these with holistic tools like Kundalini Yoga, Yoga Nidra, sound healing (such as gong), and even astrology, I witnessed transformational shifts. What might take a decade in talk therapy alone could unfold in a matter of weeks or months.
When I saw these results both in myself and in my clients, I began to bring together a team. Some I had worked with personally, some I referred to, and others I learned from. I realized that if we could weld these approaches together skillfully, we could offer something truly exceptional. And that’s how Earth’s Edge Wellness began.
It became a collaborative space—a team of practitioners, each specializing in different areas, united by a common purpose: to support healing at the level of the body and beyond. Especially with issues like trauma and eating disorders, this integrative, body-oriented approach has proven remarkably effective.
Now, five or six years later, we continue to expand—guided by the same principles, always learning, always evolving. With the right insight and tools, it becomes a real, tangible path.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Looking back it was an exceptionally smooth path! Things really happened in the most perfect of ways. Every let down showed us the next direction… Our failures were the timeliest forms of redirection. But in those moments, I questioned whether I was pushing the envelope too far. Many of my psychotherapy colleagues thought I was a quack or that we were a scam despite the results our clients were getting. I also realized that many people, in fact, do not want to heal. Many people prefer sickness. And with all of the techniques and technology we had to offer, it still was not the right time for some people who came our way. It has been very humbling to be in service, regardless of what others say, think or what our clients choose.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Earth’s Edge Wellness?
We are a hybrid virtual wellness center that specializes in treating eating disorders and trauma through a comprehensive, results-oriented approach. Our team includes licensed psychotherapists, registered dietitians, and holistic practitioners such as yogic masters, reiki masters, gong healing specialists, equine therapists, and transformational coaches.
We’re known for our exceptional success rate—over 90% of clients who commit to our program experience symptom resolution. What sets us apart isn’t just the outcomes, but the philosophy behind them. We understand that healing eating disorders and trauma requires more than a Western, ego-centered model of the self. True recovery involves reconnecting a person to their body, mind, and soul—to their true self, which is not defined by pathology, but by connection to everyone and everything, vitality, and inner truth.
Our work reaches beyond illness into wellness—and beyond wellness into living an awakened and conscious life. We believe that each person is meant to live a life of joy, creativity, passion, peace, and radiant expression. Our approach helps clients remember and embody that possibility.
I’m most proud of how our brand reflects this: We’re not just treating illness—we’re guiding people back to who they truly are.
Our services include:
Individual programs with our core clinical and holistic team
Courses and workshops for nervous system healing, body reconnection, and spiritual growth
Occasional virtual retreats for immersive transformation
High-touch and peripheral-tier packages, depending on your needs and level of engagement
We operate on a cash-pay model—not because we’re exclusive, but because we believe in the value of our work and the integrity of our results. We only take on clients we believe we can help, and when they’re ready and committed, we stand behind what we offer.
We want readers to know this: healing is not only possible—it’s natural. Eating disorders and trauma are not life sentences. They’re signals that something is ready to change and evolve. When seen clearly and addressed with the right perspective and interventions, these challenges become doorways to profound growth and lasting freedom.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
My biggest resource is yoga and meditation. I have found many books, resources and perspectives but nothing compares to the precision and truth we hold within. Outside of myself I have a few massively helpful tools: daily nature, I use Snip nutrigenomics (vitamins and minerals dosed based on my genetic needs), targeted microbiome, and weekly motorcycle rides to keep my mind and body sharpened.
